I can't handle spicy food well.
Hence, Korean cuisine can't never catch my attention.
Back in Australia, my cousin always invited me to the local Korean restaurants quite often.
Gradually I found myself show some improvement in spicy stuff.
I still have low tolerance for spiciness. But a nice bowl of Korean stir fry surely makes me happy!

Grilled veggie cheese panini
Sometimes we just crave for something simple and comforting!
Moments like these, a grilled cheese sandwich came to my mind.
As a bread person, I called it "comfort food" although I admit my Taiwanese heritage shouldn't play a part on my low tolerance of rice.
When it comes to veggie, something weird happened to me like a year ago.
Before that, eggplant was never my cup of tea.
We all believe people change as we age. And, taste is one of the most significant.
Yes! I stuffed the panini with ylots of grilled home-grown eggplant! And I just love them so much!

Assorted seafood with white wine
This dish is a bit symbolic of Mediterranean essence.
It includes a bottle of nice Italian white wine, any fresh seafood you can get hold of, succulent cherry tomatoes and a bunch of coriander and parsley.
The tartness of tomatoes, the fruity taste of white wine, the tenderness of seafood all bring this simple dish to the higher level.
The essence of Mediterranean cuisine: fresh and healthy!

Boat-shaped Nutty Biscuit
I don't have the state-of-the-art oven at home.
But sometimes a tiny toaster will do the magic.
I like to stash them in a big glass jar. They look great and even tastier!!!

Red wine braised pork knuckle
It's kind of my own version of beef bourgignon.
The alternation is that I chose pork knuckle instead of beef.
The Asian way of braised pork knuckle focuses on the combination of dark soy sauce, cooking wine and chinese spices such as star anise, five spices, etc.
Instead, I replaced them with red wine, bouquet garni and aged Balsamic vinegar.
They blend it quite well, actually.
